Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd will be named to the United States Olympic Basketball team, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The newspaper reported that the 35-year-old Kidd, who averaged 10.8 points and 10.1 assists in 80 games with the Mavs and New Jersey Nets last season, received a call earlier this week to confirm he would be on the 12-man roster.
Kidd's teams have a perfect 38-0 record in international competition,
